The Public Information and Communications team is always working to share the SCFC’s mission and insight with the general public with the goal of promoting the agency and forestry in the state.
That mission is now reaching many more people as we’ve surpassed 85,000 Facebook followers and 6,300 Instagram followers!
I’d like to thank the many SCFC employees who help us out by liking, sharing and commenting on our posts. All of these actions expand our reach to new audiences who have yet to learn about what we do, and it allows us to educate folks who may not be as familiar with certain topics as we are.
As an agency that’s always working to grow our reach and educate the public, we have a unique opportunity each time we interact with someone– and that’s to leave a positive and lasting impression. Word spreads quickly, and every encounter with the public helps us in ways we might not realize at the time.
