Asher Burnett is a Forestry Technician
for Sand Hills State Forest. He started
Dec. 2. Asher has experience in farming,
construction, security and the military. He enjoys hunting and farming in his free time.
Luke Owen is a Wildland Firefighter in
the Chesterfield/Lancaster Sector. He started Dec. 2 and lives in Chesterfield. He attended Chesterfield High School and has experience in construction and land clearing. In his free time he enjoys farming and operating
equipment.
Katie Biggert is the Invasive Species
Coordinator. She started Jan. 17 and lives in the Harbison area. Katie received her B.S. from UNC in Chapel Hill and her masters from Marshall University. She worked three years with the Tennessee Division of Forestry managing the Hemlock Strike team and was
a seasonal technician for five years all over the country. Katie is an avid fiber artist – one who creates textile
art using natural and synthetic fibers, such as yarn and fabric – and has a Goldendoodle named Reuven.
Michael Larrimore is a Wildland
Firefighter in the Horry/Marion Sector.
Michael started Dec. 2 and lives in Britton’s Neck. He previously worked with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s office and the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Michael enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
