Please welcome the following new employees who started with the agency in April and May:
LaTarsha Trapp is a Fiscal Analyst who handles Accounts Receivable in the Columbia headquarters. She started April 2 and lives in Columbia. LaTarsha attended Eau Claire High School and has experience in accounts receivable, procurement and grant manager. She has one daughter and loves to bowl in her spare time.
April Biddle is a Dispatcher in the Piedmont Dispatch Center. She lives in Whitmire and started April 2. She attended Whitmire High School, Midlands Tech, Troy Dothan in Alabama, USC Union and Piedmont Tech. April has experience as band booster president, dental assistance/receptionist and manager of a hair salon.
Travis Huff is a mechanic for the Coastal Region. He lives in Reevesville and started April 2. Travis attended Woodland High School and worked at the School Bus Shop. In his spare time he loves to hunt and fish with his wife and daughter.
Kirkland Martin is a Forest Technician at Harbison State Forest. He started April 17 and lives in Waterloo. Kirkland attended Furtah Preparatory School in Acworth, Georgia. He has experience as a park ranger.
Mark Parker is the FMO for the Abbeville/Greenwood/Laurens sector. He started May 2 and will work out of the Hodges office. Mark lives in Easley and attended Western Carolina University. He has over 30 years of fire experience with the US Fish and Wildlife, Forest Service and North Carolina Forest Service.
