SCPLT and Project WILD Facilitator Training

Environmental educators from Project Learning Tree and Project WILD hosted a double facilitator workshop at Harbison State Forest’s Environmental Education Center on June 12. SCFC environmental education coordinators Matt Schnabel and Leslie Wilson teamed up with SC Department of Natural Resources Conservation Education Program Manager Beth Foley to train a new group of certified facilitators in both PLT and Project WILD curriculum. ⁠

In addition to reviewing educational guides and online resources, conducting agenda-building exercises, participating in coordinator-led activities, attendees practiced facilitating PLT and WILD activities for adult learners at future professional development events.⁠
