Georgetown Sector Wildland Firefighter Brad Jones was presented the Honorary State Degree from the South Carolina Future Farmers of America (FFA) at the state FFA convention in Greenville June 17-19.
The Honorary State Degree recognizes individuals who have significantly contributed to agricultural education and the FFA within South Carolina. Individuals also must have previously received the Honorary Chapter Degree.
Brad has provided exceptional service on a state level sharing his ‘love for agriculture, wildlife, our youth, and all he does beyond wearing those green pants.’ Brad previously received the Honorary Chapter Degree from local chapter Carvers Bay FFA. Brad and his wife are also parents of two FFA members, Brantley and Clark Jones.
